Clarendon Towers is a residential complex of 245 apartments with 9 penthouses, the majority owner occupied. The building is 95 metres high with 28 levels, the first 5 being for car parking with 300 spaces provided. There is a 25 metre heated pool, gymnasium and sauna.
The building was constructed in 2001 by Multiplex and was a finalist in the Architectural Design Awards. The building has the reputation of being one of the better build and well managed. The quality of management reflects in the appeal of the complex with minimal apartments changing hands and those that come onto the market are quickly snapped up.
The business of managing the building finances and maintaining the building is the responsibility of the Committee of Management which currently consists of nine (9) elected apartment owners.
The committee meets on a regular basis and also addresses issues raised by residents. If you wish to raise an issue with the committee, write to the Committee of Management and leave your letter in an envelope in the Body Corporate Mail Box located in the Mail Room on the 1st level or contact the Owners Corporation Manager.
The matter will be handled by the Committee of Management and may be refered to our Committee, you will receive an acknowledgement within 48 hours and a meeting will be held within 14 days.
The committee is assisted by owners who volunteer to serve on sub committees, presently Building Sub Committee, Finance Sub Committee and Protocol Sub Committees.
The Building Sub Committee has responsibility for the management and maintenance of the building, equipment and contents.
The Finance Sub Committee has responsibility for budgets, monitoring of income and expenditure and budgeting for future building maintenance and building improvement.
The Protocol Sub Committee has responsibility for monitoring and reviewing procedures and systems, management of the web site and the Dispute Resolution process.

Building Management
Facility Management Victoria (FMV) provide building management services. The Building Manager supervises the day to day functions within the building. Those functions include managing essential services, cleaning, security, rubbish removal, moving in and out, the issuing of keys and access cards and the policing of the rules of the Owners Corporation.
